The Three Sisters
The Aboriginal dream-time legend has it that three sisters, 'Meehni', 'Wimlah' and Gunnedoo' from the Katoomba tribe were turned into stone by a witchdoctor in order to protect them from harm during a battle.
The 'sisters' remain in this rock formation as a reminder of this battle for generations to come.
Believe what you will - I say erosion!
