John O Groats to Lands End cycle ride, July 2006
On the 7th July 2006, Adam, Mark and Dan cycled from John O'Groats to Lands Ends in 14 days, raising £3,000+ for their respective charities.
We cycled 1014 miles, had one puncture, [on day one, on a 1:5 hill, on a hairpin corner, on a cliff - brilliant!] one accident, [on day five, on a 90° corner, on a one lane country road, with a 4x4 on coming!] loads of fun and not one argument - Please view our route map and our cycle photos, Enjoy!
Here is a list of our accommodation on our cycle route, with a link to the places we stayed, everyone was fantastic, youth hostels served their purpose, but some of the hospitality given at the B&Bs was second to none, especially Laigh Tarbeg at Cumnock, magic, cheers guys!
