Our John O Groats to Lands End cycle route | ride.

Marky managed to link up a GPS and Mobile phone to plot our route from John O Groat's to Lands End using Google maps, so our friends could keep tabs on us to make sure we didn't cheat on the ride.

Day 11 is pretty special, we got royally lost in the Quantocks, after realising the Youth Hostel was 13 miles from Bridgewater (where we thought we were staying) and completely off our route, it was getting dark and the Hostel, which incidentally unfortunately closed at the end of Summer 2006, honest, couldn't be found anywhere, was ace fun! - just what you need at the end of a 90+ miler, everybody was getting a little shirty!

Our route started from Manchester train station, it took the whole day to get up to John O Groat's, changing three times. This most direct route we could get!.
